FERALCO ENVIRONNEMENT ACQUIRES 100% OF THE COMPANY FERACID – May 3, 2021

Feralco Environnement (Feralco Group), the leading supplier of inorganic coagulants to the French water treatment and industrial process markets, wishes to announce the acquisition of the 50% share capital in Feracid previously held by its joint venture partner Novacid. The company whereby becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of Feralco Environnement.

Feracid is a leading producer of high purity iron salts used in the drinking water and wastewater treatment processes. Its production unit with a capacity of 60,000 tonnes per annum is located on the chemical platform of Pont-de-Claix in Isere, Eastern France. The production unit has on site access to hydrochloric acid which is an important raw material in the manufacture of iron chloride salts.
